KARTarkiv BETA

The map archive Kartarkiv.no is a service offered to clubs that want to store their maps in an efficient and secure way. The service is provided by Konkylie Data AS.

You are now in the BETA version of the map archive. In Beta you can test the solution under certain conditions. This means that some features may be removed or limited.

HOW DOES BETA WORK?

• The function to register a new club is only available in the Live version, i.e. the actual map archive. Missing your club? Please check that it exists in the live version.
• For each club that is registered (in the proper map archive), a twin is also created here in the Beta version.
• Any club that has an active entry in the map archive also has an entry in Beta.
• The club's SuperAdmin in the map archive is automatically granted access as a Superuser in Beta when the club is registered as new.
• Any newly registered user in the map archive is given a twin in Beta for the same club. The default access level in Beta is Free Bird.
• The Club's SuperAdmin can log in to Beta and assign access specifically for Beta.. Access granted in the regular map archive does NOT apply in Beta, or vice versa.
• It IS POSSIBLE for the club's SuperAdmin to create new users locally in Beta. These users will then only be operable in Beta and will not have any access to the regular map archive.
• Changing the SuperAdmin in either the map archive or Beta has no effect on the selected Superuser in the other unit. Therefore, remember to change the SuperAdmin in both units if this is necessary.
• No settings made in the map archive will have any effect on Beta, and vice versa. Beta and the map archive have completely different databases and do not share any files.
• What is referred to as the Customer Page (see the menu option [All Clubs Map]) only works in Beta if the user has already logged in to the administration part. This is to prevent the public from mistakenly ordering maps that do not exist.
• Testing of map sales must take place with operational service, meaning that this is to be considered a real purchase/sale. Fees will therefore be charged according to the prices mentioned (see the menu option [Prices and services]). We cannot provide a test database for buying/selling, as this would otherwise result in testers having to use fictitious mobile numbers that are not publicly available.

In Beta you may get to test upcoming features. There may be hickups in the machinery.
Please report this if you think you have discovered something that should be corrected before the feature is published to the map archive.
